It is a bit of a chore doing the pulgs right side is fairly easy left is a bit tricker.  If you loosen the bolt/s holding the loom which runs across the middle of the rocker cover you're be able to push/pull it about to gain access to the plugs.

The leads run to the dis pack (I think it's called) at back of the engine to gain access it's better to remove the rear scuttle cover that runs along the bottom of the windscreen.

Headlights well there is several things you can do replace your standard bulbs with the later types from Phillips or Osram.  Or fit the later projector lamps and or fit HID ;D and then there was light  :o ;)

A cheapo fix for your headlights....

Wet and dry grade 1200 or higher and wet flat them with very soapy water. Dry them off and use Brasso of all things. It's the lenses that fade in the sunlight :y

   Hi micevo,
I've added a picture showing the dis pack(yellow arrow) viewed from the rear of the engine :).

N.B. on some engines the dis pack is fitted upright with the six leads pointing down :).

If you go into the Maintenance Guides section the first entry concerns changing the dis pack and will give you some idea of what your up against :o.

But as said above by Techno and speaking from experience it's just a matter of removing a few bits to allow better access, hoping you have a good sense of feel, box of plasters, Charity swear box and following threads in the Maintenance Guides ;).

      HTH,
            Pete :).
