hi all 1`st off happy new year to you all ...

forgive my useless ness but i started a thread sometime ago ref rear diffs on 3 ltrs etc trying to work out what car would have a limited slip diff but for the life of me i cant find it again

in short will a mv6 have the above item fitted ??

LSD's are out there but not all cars had them by any manner of means.  More common on Police spec cars, less common on standard MV6, rarer again on the Elite as they were a customer option, if I understand things correctly.

There was initially a paper sticker under the diff to aid identification on the assemply line but these are long gone in the real world....

ahh right as the sticker may have gone is there any way of seeing whats what ??  :-?

only ever heard of them on police omega's, never seen one fitted to a retail omega as standard yet...

if you look inside through either of the two drive shafts then you'll either see 1 stick across the middle or 2 like a cross through the hole if that makes sense 1 is without and 2 across is lsd
