Optimum Camber Settings

Could anyone advise what the 'right' value for camber is please? Last time I had the geometry done in 2006 they were 1 degree 34 minutes and 1 degree 40 minutes for L and R respectively. This was OK according to the printout which gave a range of 0, 55 to 2, 25. There is obvious wear appearing on the inner edge of the Conti's so looks like I need to get it adjusted again. I have done the steering idler and wishbones since but this should not affect the camber as I understand it. I am aware it could be toe but seems unlikely bearing in mind the usual cause. I seem to recall advice about setting them closer to vertical. The car has done 117K so some allowance is needed for give in the springs iirc.

Changing wishbones will have a small affect on the camber (depending how different the wishbones are) and normaly a big affect on the toe.

The factory setting was -1deg 40 minutes, the optimum for a worn suspension is around -1deg 10 minutes......which is not drasticaly different

Thanks Mark. Assuming when I get it checked that it is still around the last values would you bother getting it changed to -1 degree 10 minutes if the toe is the likely culprit?
