Cam cover gasket set
« on: 02 January 2009, 23:35:08 »

Happy new year to you all..... My cam covers are starting to get a bit tired (few drops of oil around the top bolts) I think i was a bit late
cleaning out the breathers last august. I want to buy one of those sets of gaskets (everything you need in the one pack) I keep trying the OOF Shop but they seem to be always out of stock, and at 64 quid it sounds like a good price.
Can you buy the full set from VX or do you have to buy them all seperately? I Have an ABS TC. I know its always best to use VX parts for this job

if its just the bolts showing a halo of oil similar to the pic, then may be worth re torqueing the bolts to 8nm. it cured mine, which was loose enough to undo by hand. You can see my fingers are dry of oil, which i have just run along the edge of the cam cover, so the seals had not blown with no oil found in plug wells hth
