Reliable garages
« on: 04 January 2009, 19:46:07 »

Hi all, just purchased my first Omega, a 2.5 CDX. So far so good. [smiley=happy.gif]
Needs the obvious, rocker cover gaskets! Burning oil smell and slight smoke under bonnet! [smiley=sad.gif]
I am going to get the cambelt and waterpump changed at the same time.
Could anyone recomend any reliable garages/mechanics in the Bolton- Greater  Mancheater area?
Also what prices should I expect to pay?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Mark

Get intouch with JamesV6cdx he is a mobile mechanic and charges a lot less than the garages would or you could do it all your self with the how to's on here.

Elite-Pete, on the forum did mine a few weeks ago. Its been fine ever since. I had to take it to him in Northwich. I am sure if you drop him a PM he will give you a price.

I'm sure there are plenty of members up around the Manxville area who would be willing to give you enough advice so you could do it yourself :y
