James should've started this post as he must've been here earlier as there's an empty can of Fosters on the bar ;D ;D

So Broocie, it's the big day tomorrow. A dozen Jockular Omegas parked up somewhere picturesque, Mark Knopfler's theme from 'Local Hero' blaring out from the stereos and enough tartan to sink a battleship.  :y

Just a thought, do Younger's still sell Tartan?

Not sure about Tartan Special....  Not seen the cans in the supermarket for ages and dont frequent gas driven pubs much.  I prefer the hand drawn real ales rather than the CO2 induced bucket of fizz that passes for ale in most parts....

Whats the guest ales here then??

Tinner Ale?  From an alloy tin or from the wood?  Dislike the taste of tin......

Like the 1979 prices bit thuogh.

Recall getting 3 pints and three bags of crisps with change for the bandit out a quid in the mid 70's.....
