where can i purchase a new hbv at reasonable cost..ie not main stealers.

I agree with RobG.  The Vx part is not expensive - sub 30 quid and there have been reports of non gen failing.

I would also only buy genuine, its false economy to but the cheaper one as it probably not last as long and you will have to do the same job twice.
