I know about P/S fluid changed to DII (due to hoses sweating), but as I said DIII is not listed in Vauhxall EPC as a Vauxhall part. I always thought that GM changed DII to DIII in cars in 99. Some people say that Omegas FL were the first ones with DIII. In this situation there would be a DIII listed as an Omega fluid. Unfortunately there was only DII, so it means that DIII was never supplied to these boxes. Any services Omega has DII.
As per engine oil – oil change from 10W40 to 0W40 after ca 100k will increase oil consumption, clean all deposits (“seals” especially under piston rings) and eventually reduce oil pressure. Don’t want to argue about it as it’s not my opinion but a fact I’ve seen.
