mechanic to clear breather/change cam cover gasket
« on: 10 January 2009, 00:31:41 »

Hi
I have a Y reg 3.0 litre elite which is leaking oil matching symptoms of breather blockage etc. I'm looking for someone in Basingstoke area to clear the breather and change the cam cover gaskets at a reasonable price and good level of competence.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

thanks

I recommend you try the OOF's roving professional mechanic James (JamesV6CDX) who everyone says does a great job at very favourable prices to OOF members.  To be found at :

or PM him! :D :D ;)

Oh right! :o

That may explain Entwood why he hasn't been in touch with me after a PM I sent him about assisting in replacing my cam belt soon. ::) ::) :)

DK motors, Thatchem. used to specialise in Omega sales(at a premium price) now vauxhalls in general.

Dave, mech and owner, knows his stuff, but check his hourly rate.
