I was wondering, obviously if you're here on this forum, chances are you've got at least one Omega.

But what other car would you have, as a second car?

I used to have a V6 Veccy, but that handled like an overweight pig with a slight limp...  so one of those would be out.

My first car was a Cav, with an 1800 carb engine, so it obviously wasn't going to set a new land speed record.  But it was a minter, and used to embarass a few mates of mine in their Nova's.  I'll always have a soft-spot for Cav's, so I think I'd have to say I'd have a Cav GSi (or a Cav Turbo, providing it had a fully working Tx box!)

 This is something I've thought about many times. I like the Alfa 156 (prefacelift V6's especially) - but then there's the Honda CRX I've wanted for ages, then I think of older stuff, like a Capri or Mk2 RS2000...

I could think of a few soft spots for a Cavaliar .... Saddleworth Moor, Southport beach  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D [size=8]only kidding[/size]

I've always loved 156's - I remember going to the Alfa dealer when it was 1st released to have a gander (no intention of buying - couldn't afford seeing as I was only about 17 or 18 at the time!)  Beautiful looking car, and a gorgeous engine - the bonnets on them things should have been made out of perspex.  But, and it's a big but, you'll always be expecting a big, expensive failure to happen at any given moment.

Now that's not very nice is it?!  ;D  There was nowt up with Cav's - they did their job beltin' (their job being sat on motorways all day!)

3 wheel thingy (several possibilities, but not the Sinclair!)
Bike (sidecar?)
Ur Quattro

Kit car
Fiesta (current model only)

Loved the 1.9 GTi 205s I had

Had a few Talbot Sunbeams before...would love a Lotus Sunbeam or Mk1 RS2000 with forest arches and twin 45's on a lumpy cam

My mum had a banger Chrysler estate - a great car, I had a Sunbeam in a very broke part of life, and it was the best handling car I had ever driven - but mine was a tuned 1.6.

The estate - finding a cheap not rusty is almost impossible, then it would need the cam changed, rebore with 90mm pistons, hardened valves and a multipoint EFI conversion
