Those are all kinda similar to the miggy.  The E36 M3 isn't really any faster than a 3.0 Omega, a mate has one and it doesn't impress for the money.

on normal roads yes..But from the green light its 5.6 secs 0-60.. :'(

E30 M3....the original and still the best
Alfa Romeo GTV V6, the old one that rusted faster than it went.


If i was looking for a replacement today for the miggy it would be either an XJR or possibly an early hemi engined 300C and a gas conversion  :y

Ahh, it's just that the GPO used to have a load of 'em (apparently!)  And it used to be a "1 key fits all" jobbie too, so a favourite pasttime of engineers used to be moving their mates van elsewhere haha  ;D

They are a stunning car when you find a good one, although good ones command big money.

Really needs to be LHD though, there are some quality RHD conversions but without the option of the M3 steering rack they used the 325i one instead. Common consensus is that the LHD version is a much better drive as a result.
