what can i do

okay im new to the omega scene  just bought a  y reg (2001) 2.2 auto for £780, with 12 months mot.

what jobs as a newbie can i  do to improve its basics.

ps  before you say cam belt thats  done  ;D and serviced and brethers cleaned.

mainly internal comfort in the car,  cruise control if possible i do not now which of the 2 ways of doing this to do as i do not know if the accelerator is fly by wire type

2.2 is fly by wire yes so you need a stalk and a chat to tech 2 ! gearbox  upgrade is worth doing and the climate upgrade i belive on facelifts  :y also you could fit leather seats  :y

thks mark- bought stalk off ebay  £12.50 second hand now just need to pay a visit to tech2 2 man to set . will save up for seats.

what do you need for climate control

2.2 will have climate control already (assuming its a post 2000 car which all 2.2's were)

If your in Glenfield Leicester then I drive past there every week day and have a tech 2 (see The Boys prices)
