well you need not be.

first, make sure they fitted what they charged you for: failure to do so means money back 'cos you threaten trading standards

Second if it is not fitted properly and they passed the MOT on it ANd they should not then you can take it to be assessed (research this) again this threatens their ability to do MOT.

Arm yourself with more info than they have and you will win.

I'm still guessing they bodged a 2.0 system on then (one mid box and one back.....

These may well be the correct part numbers for your 2.2.
But were they the parts that were actually fitted to yours?

It's time you found another garage - try GT Motors up here in Maesteg. It's a long-established and RMI-approved family business. I've dealt with them for years with no complaints - lovely people with long-serving mechanics - that says it all for me .... ! MoTs too.

I'll price-up the job with them later on and let you know.

The warranty is irrelevant.  the sale of goods act is relevant.  Even if there is not warranty, their goods have to be fit for purpose and work needsto be carried out competently: it sounds like it has not

as Sethsmate says, please check they have fitted the correct parts - look underneath your car: take some piccies for us

Right, priced-up the parts and fitting:
The three exhaust sections for your 2.2 came to £223.25.
Fitting cost would be £30-ish as long as no problems encountered.

This would be for a good-quality Walker system with a 2-year guarantee.
Total price is just under £260 all-in - there you have it!

Will send you a 'PM'
