« on: 07 February 2009, 15:52:47 »

i have noticed that my car is juddering while driving, only slightly but ya can feel it.  it seems to be between 20ish - 35ish mph,  then seems to stop after 35ish..   could this be some miss fire or something.  it does get rather annoying

Im sure if it was a misfire it would throw up a code and put the eml light on .

my engine management light has been on since i bought the car,  its an ex plod and they have messed up some wiring somewhere so a code always shows up.  ive still yet to do the paper clip trick.

other than the judder the car runs sweet.

had similar probs with my mv6 for ages, eventually got it sorted last week.  It was the front camber settings and the knock on effect was that this messed up the front tyres.  Vx sorted out the camber and put on a new set of wheels and it now drives like a dream.  The other thing that it might be is worn bushes in the wishbones, so i've been told.
