Help !
Seems I am in a similar boat......today the ABS and TCU lights remained on since starting the engine and for my drive to work. Also, the speedo does not work, although all trip computer functions appear fine......
What is this 'clock changing' talked about ? Other things I can check ?

I have read that cleaning up the sensors (n/s/r ??) can help ? Any pointers on whether this helps and where they live ?

Methinks you a pissing in the wind, but....

fronts are integral to hub, easily seen with front wheels off. rear each side of diff, easily seen with rear jacked up

Lovely turn of phrase TB but in this instance unfortunately very apt :(

And it seems that removal is the only way to establish the exact part/model number ? Any idea how many hours labour this job is ? Really think it is beyond me.....  >:(

Just a matter of removing 6 screws to release the ECU...its just there is no access so you have to remove some stuff to do it...its not hard though...I have an ABS/TC ECU here that will most likely be a perfect replacement for yours...from a 2000 3.0 engined MV6...

Oh and its doable in under an hour (i can do it in 30-40 mins or so) but allow an extra hour or two of swearing the first time you do it  :y

Very interested.....how much ? And how will I know it is the right one? Assuming all fitted, will it just not work if it is wrong one ? Any way I can tell in advance ? ......anyone wanna do this job for me - pennies awaiting and can travel.....(pretty please !)

OK, so got in the car this lunchtime to drive to work.....and no TC/ABS lights and Speeso working again ! This did all seem to happen following the wet/snowy/sludgy roads......can I take any comfort from the idea that this may be sensor related and due to c%&p on it ? Or is this still doomed, just with a stay of execution  :-[
