Right...just finished doing the wishbones. Just took it for a spin and all of a sudden the steering wheel is 1/4 off :o

I did undo the track rods but did not alter them  :-/

Any ideas?

Go and get the car geometry checked and re-alinged. Do not just get it tracked otherwise you will scrub the tyres out. There will be someone along soon who can point you in the right direction for someone local to you.

The variations in the new components, added to fact that the geometry was probably last done with shagged bushes....

Check camber as well while your at it :)

Yeah I noticed the passenger side wheel was straight and the driver's side was ready to take a right turn  ;D

I'm getting the tracking done tomorrow morning. Hopefully that puts my steering wheel straight again.
I did still notice a knocking when going over bumps. Drop links most likely?

Don't bother with the cheapy tyre place for the tracking. They are b*s*t. I paid c.£50 for front wheel geometry check a year ago at main dealers - I know, I know, but it stopped it shreading tyres.

Yes - replace both.

Well, that's all issues sorted for now  :)
had a 4 wheel alignment this morning and just finished changing the drop links. No more pulling to the left, steering wheel straight and no more knocking  :)

Thanks to all who have assisted me in this...much appreciated  :y
