auto box
« on: 20 February 2009, 21:03:47 »

i drive a 2.6 v6 cdx.My car was owned by a sales rep and has done 237000 miles but has a full vauxhall service history. The car drives superb but i have been having a problem with the automatic box. What happens is that you are driving along as normal but sometimes when you get to a junction the car seems to stick in 4th but still drives but takes time to get moving a bit like a slipping clutch. The only way i have  found to solve the problem in to stop the car, turn the ignition off and start the car and everything is ok until the next time, can anyone help and explain what is going on.

at 230k, I'd not bother with topping up, I'd replace the fluid!
