  hello everyone , i have just finished doing the head gasket on my 20l estate and got it back together now .  :y
  
  now i have noticed there is a tapping noise seems to come from the head,   i have put everything back the way i stripped it down and the same order . a
  any ideas as everything is touque down right !!  :y

It sounds like the hydraulic lifters have gone dry but don't worry to much about it as it will die down after a while once the oil has got round it and in it.
