air filters

Was thinking of buying ripspeed air filter from halfords,would anyone know if this would be suitable for my omega 2.5 v6 in place of the orignal standard box type as fittted with the car.

general view on here is that the standard filter is pretty free flowing so there's nothing really to be gained from anything like that.  

Best mod for a 2.5V6 is a set of 3.0 cams.
