Help Rear Blind on Omega Elite Has Failed
« on: 02 April 2009, 22:51:53 »

The blind on parcel shelf has failed. It did this once before, but a ride down the road sorted it out. Now I can hear click but no blind rising from the depths. I have checked and I can pull it up manually.

No amount of irish hammer works and I'm half irish  :( (me playing and banging whilst 4 year old son pushes button - he can do it nearly 50 times a min  ;D)

Any ideas welcome  :)

Must be some way of pulling it apart (which I plan to do) that can fix it. It's a low mileage car so can't be that much wrong - I hope  :) :( :o :-X :y

Have a look at this thread from when I had trouble with mine..........

I ended up changing the control unit which is pictured, probably dodgy tracks on the pcb.

If you want to see what blind looks like out of car, I have one in the garage holding up all the other junk in there...
