fault code

hi all my first time on the O O F my car is showing a fault code of 31 no rpm signal. car runs fine but tickover a bit lumpy, just serviced but the problem still remains. many thanks medwaysteve :-?

Code 31 with engine not running normal.

Lumpy tickover/stalling - clean ICV with carb cleaner and then oil lightly.

ICV dirty, or you have an airleak

many thanks will try that tomorrow, changed the cam/ rocker cover gasket the other day and on my omega a (2.0l sohc) and it was all clogged with creamy oil all lots of water which had blocked breathers and the oil and water had been sucked into the air intake and the matal parts look a bit rusty so you may be spot on with that reply thanks :y
