Bloody tyres!!!
« on: 19 November 2007, 18:39:54 »

Popped over to see my parents last nite, stopped for an hour, came to go home and my rear nearside tyre was as flat as a pancake!

Bugger!! >:(

Not only that, its was half 10 at nite, sleeting and blowing a sodding gale.
Locking wheel nut undid but then I found my wheel brace basically didn't have any sides left to connect on to my wheel nuts properly. After 30 minutes of swearing and bleeding knuckles not to mention being drenched nothing had budged.

My girlfriend said would the wheelbrace from my mums Fiat work. Dont' be daft.
Bugger me it did and I finally got the spare on.

It doesn't half look rough with a black steel wheel on the back, off tomorrow to get a shiney new tyre. Only annoying thing is I only got it last week and the previous owner had just put 4 new Pirelli P6000's on it.

First time I stopped grinning since I bought it but drove it to work this morning and the grin was back.
3 wheels on my wagon ;D ;D

If your brace fitted the locking wheel nut key, it SHOULD have fitted the wheel nuts :o
