Engine stutters at low revs
« on: 14 April 2009, 08:33:20 »

A new puzzler - occasionally the engine stutters at low revs. It normally happens when the engine is still cold and is almost like the plugs were oiling in an old motor..no fault codes - any ideas?

Pull a plug lead and check plug wells for oil.

Sorry you have 3.2, pull coil pack and check it for cracks and split buggered rubbers, and oil in plug wells.
Be carefull pulling the pack out, when 2 torx bolts are removed youll see a thread in the brass. If you have a couple of bolts with that size thread screw then in there and pull on those. Wrap a rag around the fuel line connectors, once lines are removed, to stop damage if they fly out, the pac can stick.
