Pop down to your local argos, and buy yourself a wheel nut remover that you plug into your fag lighter, they are brilliant, and i wouldent leave home without one now.I think they are about £40,and are made by rac. These are alot less hassle when removing wheel nuts, because it always fits square on wheel nut, which eliminates rounding off your bolts.
Could not find this but they do have an inpact wrench which I've reserved now. Will get this and the locking nut remover tomorrow - it'ss be just like Christmas ;D

Thanks guys! (and Lizzie Zoom ;D)

Got the wheel nut remover from Argos. Brilliant tool - made light work of the wheel nuts. Got the wheel nut removal socket too, but alas, the locking nut had a spinning outer shell. Sorted eventually. Used a small cold chisel to strip off the outer shell, then took Loo-Knee's advice and hammered on a 17mm impact socket. Soon had it off. Took me 45 minutes to get the nut out of the socket and then did the same on the second wheel.

The guy in the garage told me that the locking nuts I had are around 10 years old so I would not be able to get a new key, so I got a new set, and they are really cool. It's got a shape like a butterfly on it ;D I'll make sure I keet the key number because I don't think the socket trick will work on these little gems!

Anyway, used everyone's advice so cheers!
