he is talking 'dangle berries' should be around £150 for the 'kit' which does not include sealant, which you do need.

I have heard someone else mention something about a gasket around the oil cooler plate but I have not done any like that, just used the proper sealant :y

The VERY early C25XE units had a gasket adn it was repalced with the sealent due to leaks.

You need to buy the repair kit to get the oil cooler at a good price.

ok so shall i go to vaux tomorrow and ask for a oil cooler repair kit and then ask for a oil cooler to get a good price? :-? :-/

is there a chance that ive got a buggered oil cooler gasket or maybe the sealant is knackered and needs replacing/ redoing?

im not working so have time to investigate

Oil Cooler kit includes oil cooler, cover plate, 2xO rings & 2x 30mm nuts - £92 + VAT on TC, told retail around £200.
Sealant cost around £3 IIRC

4 off 11076852 METAL COOLER O-RING
1 off 93176626 COOLER RADIATOR AND COOLER PLATE (INCLUDES NUTS)

See if you can scrounge a couple of the banjo bolts from the breakers on here just in case (I have never broken one but the heavy handed Tunnie has  :y)

I presume that the oil cooler for the 2.5 is the same as that for the 3.0. If so, here is a copy of the invoice that I recently got from my local VX dealer when I bought a new cooler for my 3.0 Elite, hope it helps! :y

This was for the full kit, which included the cooler, seals, nuts, the lot! Obviously the sealant was the seperate item.
