My Nurburg trip
« on: 17 November 2007, 22:57:12 »

I was clearing stuff from my computer earlier when I found a load of pics I thought my ex had deleted when we split.
Its from my trip to Nurburg in September last year. Been 3 times now but since buying a house thats gone by the wayside for abit. I didn't have my Omega then I had a Pug 406 Coupe 3.0 V6 which you can see in the pics.
There was an Omega V8 DTM style race car bombing round but he was just too bloody fast to photo. The pics of the hotel is the one we stayed in, in Adenau, which as you can see is right by the track :y

And a couple of pics of my old flying machine there and in Belgium. My mate took his MV6 there a couple of years ago and we spent most of the lap sideways :y
Have to see about getting mine there then.

And I couldn't resist the world's best numberplate ;)

Yes, I rather liked that too.  :-*

Modern day BMWs don't do much for me but in that era they were lovely. Mate of mine has a rather nice 2002.  8-)

If you do then go the hotel option. Don't do what we did the first year which was campsite it.
Did it for cheapness, 10 euros per person per night and right next to the track but it was flipping freezing!!!

We went in September, it was really warm by midday but it foze overnight. I've never had frost on my car on a September morning.

I went down a few Years ago, never got out of the Camp site :'(

After about 25 Litres of beer its hard to put one foot in front of the other, and talking about the other,

it was like a rather Orgy with couples Fornicating all over the place, was great
;D ;D

Yeah, thanks.  Was there in August one year.  40 degrees plus.  Woowee!

Interesting about the orgy.  :o ;D  Probably don't want to do the camping thing since I don't drink at the track, and I would need some sleep.  ;)
