I need a cambelt kit. Where is the best value place to get one from please?

Autovaux - can't remember how much I paid but it was a kosher gates kit and they hire out the cam locking kit too.

EDIT - surely with 14000 odd posts you should know where to get a cambelt kit from by now?  :D :D :D

got a mate at work whose brother is in the trade.  works for a supplier that stocks gates kits.  give me the part number and I'll see if I can get trade price on it.  (if so I'll see if I can get some deal going for OOF members)

Martin try http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/ - thay do Contitech kits at a good price - Contitech are Vx OEM suppliers and their kits are good :y

got a quote from them today for my 99 cdx
cambelt kit   £58.69
aux belt       £13.44
water pump £25.95  plus the vat.

9120501 Timing Belt Kit (SKF rollers & gates belt) the best combination IMHO £66.37

Water Pump £14.46

Antifreeze (Genuine GM Pink) £10.80

Hire of cambelt timing kit £15.75 (£100 deposit)

All plus VAT and delivery was £7.50 :y
