sunroof blind
« on: 23 April 2009, 09:51:22 »

ive noticed that when i shut the sun roof from fully open the anti trap stops it from closing
i clean the runners and everything and it still wouldn't shut

ive noticed that on the sun roof cover there is like a plastic trim that runs across the blind

i have noticed that the 1 corner of the plastic has come away from the blind which catches the roof lining causing the anti trap of the sun roof to kick in

is there anyway of getting that plastic trim to click back in
ive tried pushing it and it wont stay in place

is it worth geting the super glue out to hold it in place

Superglue or any other cyanoacrylate based product might be affected by heat and movement. It doesn't fill gaps well either so I would try epoxy resin products such as Araldite.

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.
