Alfa wheels.
« on: 20 November 2007, 20:54:56 »

Cant seem to stop spending money on this car. These have got to be a bargain though. How can I convince SWMBO that I "need" them. :-/

Just noticed you drive an Alfa 166 3.0 V6 nice looking motors  ;) It was on my list of options for a new motor along with an S Type Jag. I was looking at the Super Lusso model on the Alfa and the 3 litre manual "sport" model on the Jag.

Ended up with another Omega MV6  ;D It's in the blood..

Yeah, worth a try. Trouble is, I've only had it three months and spent  the best part of a grand on it already. ::)

Tell her tyres for the current wheel size are mega dosh.....investing in this set of more readily available tyre size would save money over time..... ;) :y

Well, the amount of posting you do these days, it's a good job there's an alfa owner to keep the forum moving along. :P

I've just come home from spending the day in meetings......this morning a Counter Terrorism one with Chief Constable and MI5 representatives......and then just got back from Preston for a Performance Review that finished at 7pm :o

Better day yesterday - started at 10.30 and left at 1pm to have a meeting in Lancaster - for a new job ;D don't tell the boss - I didn't  ;)

And just tell the Missus that your wishbones are shagged, causing undue and unseen tyre wear and it's cheaper to buy 4 wheels than new tyres - there, sorted :y
