Central Locking - self activating!!
« on: 08 May 2009, 10:49:42 »

Hi,

today my car is on the drive and I left it unlocked. It has started raining this morning....and to my surprise I could hear and see the central locking door stalks going up and down on their own.
Any ideas anyone??

Bit spooky!!!  :o

Yes it does do it when dead-locked. It started to rain today and thats when I heard the car doors locking and unlocking about every 15 seconds or so. I went out opened the doors and started the engine (to see if all this activity had drained the battery) and after I switched off it has not done it again!!

Could it be a rain thing??!!! Or is it likely to be driver door motor/solenoid??
