Omega Petrol and Anti Freeze.
« on: 09 May 2009, 19:28:44 »

I currently live in the United Arab Emirates and drive a 2002 Opel Omega 3.2 V6. The car runs on petrol.

I am shipping the car back to the UK and I have a couple of questions.

What type of petrol should be used in the UK leaded or unleaded ?

When should I start to put in anti freeze to the engine.

Regards
Nodrog.

Unleaded fuel.
Antifreeze should be used always, it's not just the freezing that is avoides, antifreeze also includes inhibites to prevent corrosion inside the engine.

I read a service bulleting about cars supplied to there and apparently they have mods done that allow them to run on leaded petrol!!! wow
however they will still run unleaded no problem!
