Throttle Body and Breathers??
« on: 19 May 2009, 08:32:10 »

I saw a HOW TO in the maintenance section.
The thing that I need to know is how much time doeas it take to do this if you're fairly experienced with part time mechanic work.
Don't have much time during the day and no garage to work during the night so need to know.

Another question Auto Addict.
My car works fine but when I took a look in the breather it is really dirty. Can this affect consumption in any way cause my fuel consumption seems ok?
Also can it affect performance (power) of the engine much if you happen to know?

Car will work a lot better, yes it will affect consumption.

I clean mine twice a year, with regular oil changes, 2500/3000 miles.
