There's only a pint between them (assuming 2.2 is similar to Haynes figures for 2.0) so your info isn't going to be that far out.  ;)  ;)

Assuming that you already had a 50:50 mix in there to start with you now have a bit to much antifreeze in there. As far as anti-freeze is concerned, more isn't better, you start to lose cooling efficency if thee's to much in. You only needed to put around half the bottle in, so you could drain a couple of pints & top up with fresh water.
Don't lose any sleep though, it won't explode or sieze in the mean time.  :y

Red drain tap at the bottom of the radiator, passenger side. Slacken it off, it doesn't need to come out completely and it just requires a nip when you close it, swinging off it doesn't make it seal any better.  :y  :y  :y

will this mix affect the cooling cos it seemed to heat up v-quickly going over the mountain road to applecross

The maximum heath transfer efficiency of the mixed coolant is at around 2/3 Ethylene Glycol and 1/3 water. Higher EG concentration will see the heath transfer capability of the coolant going down.

This is because pure EG is thicker than water, so while it has better heat transfer properties (and higher boiling point), it will not flow as well as water and the overall effect on engine cooling will be reduced.

So 100% EG does NOT cool the engine better than mixed coolant.

Said that, for various reasons the recommended concentration is (as mentioned by others) 50%-50% which optimises various requirements such as lubrication and corrosion inhibition etc.
