Secondary Air Pump?, nothing to do with your barrel!

Just a guess if its not noisey.

Just give the ignition-lock a little squirt of Plus Gas or similar.

Work the key in/out a few times - should do the trick!

Secondary Air Pump can sound a bit like a distant Jet engine starting up.

Normally from cold or on short trips last about 30 seconds from start up.

If noise/whistle is the secondary air pump, easy to check - disconnect the plug, it's under the NSF wing at the front - if you unbolt the horn (1 bolt) you can see and pull it off.
Then start and see if the noise has gone.
I belive there is no personal downside to this action.
Mine was just done by KW, worked a treat.
