Evening guys
                   Im looking for some help, just change the two front doors on my 1998 omega mini facelift due to broken door stays to the door shell but now unable to dead lock the car, air bag warning light on, i disconnected the battery and left for half hour before doing the work.
  I just found out that these cars have a seprate ecu for the cenral locking, is it possible to reprograme my ecu or whats best guys.  :-/

Are your doors miniface lift too? The doors have sensors for the airbags in them, sounds like your 'new' doors are older than your original doors. You now need your airbag light reset.

          Yes, they are the same doors,air bag sencers inside door shell, made sure that the door membrain is in tact as well, everything worked ok before.
   Since the change im unable to lock the car correctly

    Yes all other eletrics works, mirrors, windows but no dead locking or total closure, air bag light on,was fine before changing doors, same doors for the year ie air bag sencers for the side of the seats inside door shell, disconnected main battery and waited 30 minutes before starting, car will not start, possiblely connected, immobisher, car was fine before,  I was thinking of changing the locking solidnoids, but cannot see what has change, is the central locking ecu programed for them    im stuck

Hi sorry mate
                    I think the car not starting is a seprate issue, i've flash code which brings up code 73 i need to check this out
  now the doors , they will lock but not dead lock or total closure, i feel the only way out is to change the driver door lock, i feel this will match with the ecu, what do you think, thanks for coming back

The loking motors are NOT in any way coded to ecu.

Does the window one-touch open and close?

If you have had the battery disconected have you reset the locks and windows etc?

The only kind of reset you can do re the locks, is a re-synchronise of the fob ie key in ign, ign on, press lock/unlock ( can never remember which ) on fob and your locks will lock & then unlock. Your key is now sync'd with the car.This is only really required after a new battery fitted in the key fob

  right ok, this is a nightmare, doors are the same in every way including the colour, i was thinking of changing the drivers lock system, mainly due to key lock change to see if this works, the doors lock but not dead lock, i never thought this would cause so much trouble, unable to put back other doors as i have strip the bits from them  Thanks for your advice guys  :-/ :-/

Mine always needs a reset after having the battery disconnected. The deadlocks/closing never works afterwards till I reset the locks.
