A/C valves

It took the main stealer 1 week to change 1 a/c valve when I asked them to change both. >:( Seriously how long does it take these people to change a valve.

Question is can you change the valve yourself and is there a special tool required. Don't fancy taking the car back for another week for them to change a valve.

Which valve, the fill valves (low and high pressure?)

Sorry, they changed the one that gets hot, now the cold filling one needs changing.

Which is that? The valve near the front of the car or the other?

The higher one a bit towards the back of the engine bay.

My Omega isn't here at the moment but (as another reply on A/C) looking at the print out from EPC that i have, and looking at my Astra shed, it looks to be an ordinary shrader valve, just like your tyres valve. Changing the valve depends on how much gas you have in your A/C ..... I'm guessing it's hot in Qatar & you'll want your air con on!  ;)  ;)
