« on: 25 November 2007, 22:46:12 »

Spotted whilst under his car this weekend:

Some further development required after initial testing. Oil changes said to be "a bit of a pain in the @rse".

could do with a slight modification: reduce the amount of stud protruding. their's some road humps round my way that would  rip that tinker straight off >:(

Can you retro-fit the newer style sump plug with a rubber "O"ring seal?

.. and how did the journey to Cardiff go, James? Burnt that cylinder of LPG yet?

You can retro fit the whole newer sump... but mine has the newer sump anyway :)

The journey to Cardiff... she started to stutter a little just by the severn bridge, followed by 9 very loud "beeps", then back onto petrol. So I was "outta gas" !!

I'm just off out to buy a hole saw, an olive, and get the filler all connected is my job for tomorrow. Plus the installation of 6 new plugs :y :)

Ahh, Ok. mounting the filler becomes a priority now, then!

So, it must have done the best part of 250 miles plus a load of idling and blipping the throttle in the garage?

Lob the filler on and get that certificate.  :y
