Climate control - noisy fan - check fixing bolts tight - or could be fan bearings knackered.  Fan located up behind glove box.

On very early Omega's the aerial was built into the rear windscreen, sounds as if yours just needs tightening.

There's an aerial on your roof. But your radio aerial is in your rear screen with an amplifier under the parcel shelf.

Here we go, couple of other things  ::)

The alarm siren does not sound when the alarm goes off, looking at another recent thread I should be looking at the powersounder? Does this sound right? Are the batteries easy to obtain?

Also, I am having difficulty deadlocking the car. It'll lock fine on the remote but the total closure is a bit hit and miss and it will only deadlock on rare occasions? Could this just be the remotes needing a fresh battery?

Thanks again  :y

That could be related to the alarm not working. You will probabaly need to take it to a main sdealer to get that sorted. I had to get mine replaced before they could program a new key for me.

The roof aerial was only ever fitted to cars with factory fitted phone kits. The radio aerial is the rear screen heater element.
