Anybody fitted Jetex exhaust to V6?
« on: 10 June 2009, 22:44:44 »

I am interested in the quality of fitment. Have heard that on some cars they don't always fit very well - banging etc...

I am getting close to needing to do the zorst and this is currently the fave as it looks like the std 3.2 job from the back (if a little bigger!).

Can the centre silencers be ditched for pipes?

I've had a Jetex on mine for the last 4 or 5 years, no problems fitting it, no banging at all.
My only gripe, is the twin tail pipes look a bit on the Max Power side, I would have prefered a little less 'in yer face'  :y

I thought they were subtle! A bit larger than std but not like the big ovals or swin squares that are just not OE look at all.

Good to hear of good experiences - I don't think I would do the powerflow just for a regular look as I can't see how a custome build system will give the same gains as a system developed specifically for the vehicle.

The plus point with the Jetex item is that it runs two pipes all the way through, unlike the Bastuk item below.

Mine was £500 delivered. Mine's an auto so I was looking for a system that would give a nice deep note without droning and the Jetex really fits the bill. I got some vibes under the driver's seat when I first fitted it so I had to loosen the joints and wiggle the pipes around and that sorted it.

The Monza was sulking at the time but lots of welding soon had it back on the road causing trouble.
