my car has gone mental!!! Wont operate from key. its unlocked atm, all dash lights just flicker. Alarm randomly going off. Wont start. Nothing electric operating. Can hear a clicking from inside the car. Im stranded in shepperton,surrey. helpppp

check the fuses under the steering wheel

ok ill give them a go. not the easiest thing to do at roadside though xx  got rac on their way as we speak.

Sounds like battery connections or flat battery.

twas flat battery. Started it on a booster pack from the rac.  Need a new battery though. :(

Better from stealers if you can access a trade club card somehow. Maybe someone nearby has one?

There can be many reasons why your battery has lost
its charge. Before replacing the battery check out
your system first.
You may have a current drain or a faulty charging
system. You don't want to spend money on a battery
and then find out it's your alternator when your new
battery loses its charge.

well i couldnt check the charging system until i had changed the battery as i couldnt get it starting again. i replaced the battery, and THEN i have check the charging voltage. All is well it seams =]
