Washer problems :-(
« on: 11 June 2009, 20:08:53 »

As you all know I have now fitted the front bumper. I now have a further problem, my windscreen and headlight washers are now not working. I have checked the fuse, which was blown and replaced, the washer pump does work as I have tested it. My question is, is there another fuse or relay for the washer jets as this has got me stumped. Washers worked for a split second then stopped, the pipes are on both pumps and now just don't work.

Nope. Also forgot to mention that there is no power going to the washer pumps.

Thank you Entwood you are, yet again, a legend. Now the other thing is which is the positive wire? The brown one or the grey/yellow one? Just so I don't blow the fuse or relay again.

Brown to most people is thought of as the positve(live) I think because of the household wiring  :y

Oh and just a thought when I fitted the headlught washers to mine I had problems getting them to work , it turned out to be the connections where the relay plugged into needed cleaning up a little .
They have been ok since though  . ;)
