I'm sure you can - but trying to make an omega 2.0 barge go faster is like polishing a turd - 4 pot performance is just dire, due to weight of car....

the current airbox system is the best setup, all induction kits do is make more noise. If anything you loose performance.

Used  to have  two v6 and they roared
Now got 2.5 to Opel

what ever money you want to spend improving the 2.0 i'd just put aside and save up for the V6, thats what i'm doing lol.

 :y  Yep, not even worth getting K&N, Pipercross etc for std air box.

Someones may have tried it, but it's common knowledge on here that they make no difference and can even be detrimental to performance and reliability.

The reason the original setup is best is due to the massive surface area of the filter.

People have tried various kits, I've yet to see one that has *any* improvement, most decrease power!  And I get to drive an awful lot of Omegas ;).  Worse still, some people have buggered their MAF sensors using oiled filters.

The recommendation is to stick to the original airbox, and use genuine GM filter every year (Genuine GM filter has approx 50% more surface area than a Halfords pattern one).
