Hi All
i am new to driving and also new to omega aswell
i bought an Omega CD LPG 16 volts 2.o litre T reg
it had a problem of a noise continous coming from behind the front pessenger seat dashboard .i showed it to a mechanic and he cleared it by removing a speaker small part from that area.so that noise is gone now but i have another problem since i bought that car that is the engine electronics symbol in control symbols area in instrument sections. because of this it doesnot turns off but engine start smothly when battery is charged but since i bought that car it giving me three problems
1.noise was coming as a beep and continouse till i switch off engine plus ignition.
2.when i turn off ignition completely the display doesnot turn off and consume the battery so next time i cant start it without jump leads.
3. it shows continously engine electronics sybol or sign lighted up.

i will be very thankfull if anyone can help
every time i have to request somebody to start it and sometimes i cant get help

i could not even got time in three weeks to take it to garage.
thanks in advance and sorry for long message but i wanted to make sure that everyone can understand it

Sounds like EML (Engine Managment Light)is on, would suggest paperclip test first of all (see link below) get the codes read as there should be some stored and post them up, should help identify the problem.......

but at the moment my car battery is again gone flat because i told that temprature display was still on when i switched it off so battery went discharge
as soon as i get it up i will run that paper clip test and let u know the codes.
