Coolant leak
« on: 22 June 2009, 15:08:46 »

Hi all, I noticed my car running warm, sat on the drive with the engine running listening and sniffing, lifted the bonnet and found a coolant leak from the front on the engine. I can't see exactly where it's coming from but it's running onto the oil filter and dripping off there. I've read as many posts as I can and many mention the HBV, am I right in thinking that this is at the back of the engine compartment?  If so I don't think that's my problem. All hoses and clips that I can see appear to be intact.  Any advice as to what the leak might be and solutions to fix?   Thanks in advance

The hbv is at the back of the V6 engine.
there is just the one from rad. but it goes to the front of the engine. unless its the small one on the front of the plenum.
