vx dealer rip off

just been to my local vx dealer and was relieved of 62 quid for valve cover gaskets not a complete gasket set just the 2 gaskets when i said it was a bit steep he said thats the price across the board

Just over £50 iirc for the gaskets and o rings to do both banks...

Pretty sure I paid less than that for both sides  :-?

I think he means both banks for gaskets, ie 4 gaskets in total...

You can get a pattern top end gasket kit for same money, but we all know how crap they are ;)
