its certainly a common issue re tire wear and wishbone play. But not sure about the oil part. If you have tire wear on the inside edge it would certainly suggest new parts needed. Have they given you a quote for this out of interest?

And the car will need full geometry set up once the work is done. See the oof map for a company nearest you, maybe someone knows the password for it?

Wishbones are not oil filled :)
Could be shocks leaking or oil leaking onto wishbone rubbers ? :-/

Hmmm, I have just replaced one of my wishbones because there was a lot of play in the rear bush, also, when I applied a crowbar, the bush actually "Squelched"! I assumed it had originally been filled with oil or Silicone. Perhaps mine has a leaking shock then, I do still have a "Clunking" noise from that side.  ::)

Did you replace the anti-roll bar link at the same time as these are a source for clunking too.

Well the pattern wishbones on mine certainly had some sort of oil leak from them on the first few weeks. Definately from the bush and not anywhere else. Can only assume it was something they used to fit the bushes into the arm at manufacture.

The bushes are fluid filled.

And inside edge tyre wear is likely to be caused by incorrect camber

I have no other way of explaining the oil around the front bush because the whole surrounding area is bone dry :-/

Exactly the same as mine. Where did you get the wishbones from?
