Help needed : auto gearbox

got a problem !!! auto gearbox runs fine through the gears if put into '3' but when put into to 'D' and taken up to '4' , revs it a**e off , loses power and auto gearbox flashes up on computer . Tried stopping to see if it would reset ... it didn't . also tried topping up aft level ... still no joy ... please help !!!

Had exactly the same problem then eventually i had to go from 1st to 3rd manually.i explained what was wrong with mine here http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1246043931 although there's probably other reasons it can happen.
