Quick question, on a 2002 v6 is the valve for the coolant release on the drivers side of the rad, can’t see one on the passenger side, or am i going blind.

pass side bottom corner, remove under tray. Red knob, unscrew, may need grips on it if its not been off for a while.

Cheers,  I think i found it, not red but black, on this rad, any how i can't unscrew it, so will have wait a few days...

Don't need to remove undertray to see/get to rad drain plug.

This is what you're looking for - obviously just the knurled bit!  ;)

I think the later ones are a bit different.I recently put a rad from an 02 car on mine and the drain plug is black,and rather than being knurled it has a large screwdriver slot(iirc) :y
