Crank sensor replacement
« on: 09 July 2009, 11:36:57 »

I've just got a new crank sensor for my car, a 2001 2.6 estate. I've looked at the crank sensor replacement section on maintenance and the plug end is supposed to be at the back of the engine near the big 8-pin connector as per the photo, but I can't see it. I can see the 8-pin but not the smaller 3-pin one for the crank sensor. Is it in the same place on the 2.6's or is it slightly different to the V6 on the maintenance photo?
