Sat Nav speaker
« on: 09 July 2009, 10:11:28 »

Can anyone provide a picture of what I'm looking for and where. I'm led to believe that it is in the passenger footwell but I cannot see it. Has someone stolen my speaker!?

I ask as mine works but I have no voice coming from it. I have checked the volume settings and turned them up to full but still nothing.

the speak should be behind the kick panel on the passenger side foot well
this should give you an idea of where it should be and what to look for  :y

hope that helps you out :y

Ok, I pulled the kick panel off today to have a look, on inspection I found a 2 pin plug that looks like it might plug into a speaker but no sign of the speaker itself.

I can't even see where it might mount.

You should see the speaker without removing the kick panel. There should be a hole in the kick panel that the speaker fits in.

Thanks for the pic.

Seems someone has removed the speaker and replaced the trim. Not sure why they would have done that.

Either that or they have retrofitted the sat nav and didn't bother with the speaker. Seems plausible as there is no cage holding the radio in either.

Any idea where I can get one from separately other than pm the usual people on here (which I will do anyway)

 >:( Yet something else about this car. Seriously getting fed up now
